View Full Version : My God! What a hill!!!
That one in the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Just when I thought it was finally over, the path turned and it kept going and going and going, then it turned again. I guess you Austin people already knew about it, and so do I, now. Coming down was a little better, fatigue was replaced by fear. I was even thankful when my chain got caught between the cassette and spokes, so I could stop and cool my rims.
Anyway, that is a pretty good trail. Good scenery. And the trees and stuff are nice too.

mr. e-
check out the post by charles about the GB ride this sunday...if you are riding that day, definitely want to hook up with him and whoever shows if you are new to the greenbelt, he's got a killer loop going on...bring lots of aqua like he's says, some trail food, and have a sweeeet ride ;)

The greenbelt is great place to start. But may I suggest Walnut Creek or for a technical ride Emma Long(trail of life).

if you think the gbelt is a good place to "start" and that Emma is more technical, you need to ride more out at the Gbelt..
I can take you to some technical stuff :)
