Mas O Menos- Volunteer info

Called down to Terlingua and got the following information:

If you are interested in volunteering to help with Mas O Menos, Feb 17-19, the people to contact are either Rebecca or Mike at Desert Sports. The web site gives contact info Phone # and Email address to use (info@desertsportstx.com )

If you choose to Email, Desert Sports suggests that you put "Mas O Menos" or "MOM" in the subject line. Including the word "volunteer" probably would not hurt either.

Emailed them once already; got little response. A phone call was much more effective. However, neither of the key individuals were on the premises at the time of my calling. Will Email again, using my work address; perhaps get a response with a bit more alacrity. Any additional info I get will be added here for y'all to use.

Isn't $85.00 a BIT STEEP?

Their line of defense is they had to hire EMTs on horesback for the remote areas. :rolleyes:
I don't remember the fees I paid to race Lajitas last time but I know it wasn't $85.00.

For that price I just MAY volunteer. I will definetly preride it. Am looking forward to the whole event. But with annual license prices up, this gets expensive for a non competitor like myself.
