What light are you running for your bike? I think i could get into the night riding thing now that it's warming up finally. The thought of being able to ride at any point day or night is almost too much for me!!! :D

if you have money i suggest an HID light. Runs on 12 watts or so and puts out silly amounts of light- just ask your roommate. I like my niterider handle bar mount. ("Blowtorch")

Lumelighting is a good option for HID. I like mine better than the NR. Super service when I thought the beam spead sucked. They replaced it in 2 days and now offer a flood. It is whiter than NR. I will likely be up next Tuesday if it is dry and you can check it out then.
