Gumbo ride: 4/14/05

meet at dukes bbq

we leave at 7:30pm

bring lights if you have them.

DIRECTIONS:

dukes is at the corner of north san gabriel river and i-35.

if coming from austin area or south of g-town, take i-35 north
exit 261 (lake georgetown/andice/2238 exit)
turn right at first street just past river (next to kfc)
at stop make right (w morrow)
and drive into parking lot
park at lower part of parking lot

it's a social/no drop ride!

Wheeeee that was fun

Just cheify and I on the ride (also a newbie Jeff that we met on the trail)

Cruising down the paved trail from the dam in formation with cheify to my right. My front wheel decided it was tired of all this pavement, and wanted to taste dirt. Front wheel washed out, handlebar ground into the pavement, and went running. Funny crash/running dismount.

hahahaha! we were side by side for a bit. funny how a 25mph crash going downhill on pavement looks when your next to it! it was kool!
