i don't care where we go. I just think it would be nice to get a change of scenery and out of waco. Think we could make this happen?? Whats everyone's finals schedule like? I've got two finals - one on the 9th and one on the 10th. So i'm down for anything before the 7th :D

i can ride sunday morning- i can no longer ride with googe sunday at 1ish cause i have a new obligation that has popped up at 2 pm (yes, it's music!)
as far as a mtn bike trip this may be of interest... this was sent to the conerence list serve by this guy that is from Waco but goes to UT:
First, I want to thank Joe, Dan, Dan, Brandon, Pete, Eric and the rest of
the Texas State Cycling Team for hosting Conference Championships and doing
a spectacular job. Second, I would like to invite anyone who is interested
in taking a weekend (May 7-8th) to go ride and camp on Lake Waco at Airport
Park (http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/waco/airportp.htm). For all who were
able to race at Baylor's Bicycle Bash or who have every ridden Cameron Park,
you know it is one of the best mountain bike trails in Texas if not the
best. There is also tons of great riding for road enthusiast (there will be
a guide--Tony or Baylor might be interested in leading some?) in Waco. If
you can, come out and celebrate a great season, have fun riding with people
you've been racing, relax before finals, maybe even bring out some new
recruits. Campsites are $12 each and I believe you can have 8 people/ 2
vehicles per site. We will head up Saturday morning and come back Sunday
night just in case people need to study. We'll ride both days as much as
possible and party it up Saturday night. I hope everyone can make it out.
Let me know if you have any suggestions and if you can make it out.
Cheers,
Travis

Depends on where you live... Sometimes we meet at the campus and ride out, othertimes we meet over in the park. If the latter, it will take a while to get out there cause the single speeds don't move so fast.

Probably sit around at the bottom of the huge stairs... Like 2:15 ish depending on how long it takes to get out there...

Go out to Valley Mills. Go out towards the airport. then take a right on china springs RD.. take that to valley mills.. you can come back down hwy 6 (gets nasty near the bridge over the lake) or you can add 5 miles and take fm 317 in valley mills right and go to mcgregor.. come back hwy 84..

You didn't sell your bikes did you Justin? I'm hoping you just took them home preparing for summertime.. Get out and ride Cameron this week, the trails are riding pretty smooth. Some loose sections from the lack of rain though

Does anybody want to maybe do a shoot day next week? This is basically a day of doing downhill riding (go down a trail then climb up and do another one). It's lots of fun! Googe and I did some of this today, but i would like to devote an afternoon to see who is willing to do every trail out there. I can show you guys some of the out of bounds trails. Even the one that Justin is talking about at the bottom of Rhino... Over and out
