Trails are in decent shape. There was a good turnout for the preride today, and the wheels on the trail are helping.

A little rain this week will help settle some of the loose stuff down a bit.

rode the race loop a few times on Sat(14th) and once on Sunday and the trails seemed to be in great shape. Looks like a lot of hard work went into prepping the trails for the race. The dirt was nice and tacky, and a bit loose in the corners. It was my first time to ride out there and wish that I could ride it a few more times..I really enjoyed the different types of trails that were linked together to form the race loop and felt that there was equal parts of climbing and descending for a race..blah blah blah...let the racers complain that there was to much climbing at cameron park, let themn complain that there was to much climbing at Broken....they just don't know what awesome trails we get to ride on a daily basis in central tejas...wish i could ride the ranch today or whenever i could.....ya'll did an awesome job on the trails out there...and this has to be the most complete race course in the state :endo:

Broken Oak, is indeed a nice course. What gearing were you running on the SS? The climbing out there gets to you when running a 2:1. Or maybe it's the extra 20 pounds I'm carrying. It's nice that after you climb you have a section to recover on, and Gravity Cavity is definitely one of the top 5 sections of race course. Flat Rock ranch in Comfort still gets my vote for best course though.
