GUMBO ride: 6/16/05

we leave at 7:00pm

DIRECTIONS:

dukes is at the corner of north san gabriel river and i-35.

if coming from austin area or south of g-town, take i-35 north
exit 261 (lake georgetown/andice/2238 exit)
turn right at first street just past river (next to kfc)
at stop make right (w morrow)
and drive into parking lot
park at lower part of parking lot

it's a social/no drop ride!

you get a new bottom bracket?

yeah I did.. picked it up today... Talked to Intraverted Rider at the shop.
No one had the crank arm I needed (175mm with the sqauare bottom bracket opening, all they had were diamond shaped). I went by Todds and he hooked me up with a used set of 170's with the chain ring and all.
He is letting me borrow them until mine comes in. Just need to clean it up
and install it tonight. I should be good to go :)

Now I am having issues with my front fork. There is a grinding noise when I turn it. I think that when I cut off that crank arm some debris got in it.
When I pull of the head stock shouldn't the fork just fall out??? It isn't...
I think I need to take a rubber mallot to it. What is your take on it?
