just wondering if everyone heard about Lance's bee sting incident. Seems he was stung in the eye by a bee, pulled the stinger out, and kept riding only to take a spill giving him a black eye in the nonstung eye....oops.

Yup, I read that yesterday as a matter of fact. Wasn't it a few years back when Vaughters and Ekimov got stung too? I remember seeing Jon doing the interview and his whole eye started to shut down. Eki had the sting that was in his lip. I had a similar thing happen to me at Memorial about a year or so ago. The sucker got lodged between my glasses and helmet and got me just above the eye lid. Hurt like hell, but I was fortunate I didn't get that much swelling.
