OK, so me and googe and claire ( ? ) and hopefully some others are gonna go race the hotter n' hell (http://www.hh100.org/) 100-mile race/ tour.

WE NEED support!- people to drive ahead to each feed zone and give us water and food, since 1) we're racing 100 miles, and 2) itll be hotter n' hell.

IF you're interested in taking a fun road trip, and seeing what a bike race is all about, and want to help your teammates represent, post up!!!!

We'll leave late friday afternoon, august 26, and return saturday evening late. Anyone who comes along to help out will most likely not have to pay for much at all! (racers will cover the room, gas, etc)

Hi, I'm a new freshman at Baylor, but I was wondering if you racers might have a little extra room for me to ride up to the ride/race with you guys. I would pay more than my share for gas/room fees.

I was thinking I would do the race. Do you guys have any regular bike club rides on weekdays or weekends? I heard about the KOW, if its still at 5:30 at the Bicycles Outback I will try to show up there this week. Thanks.

Are you leaving from the fountain? When you say the fountain, is it that area just in front of the fountain mall? I haven't seen any fountains around there. Maybe it's named that for another reason. I'll show up at 3:00, but then may have to turn around early or something depending on my schedule.

Really? When did they stop same day registration? From the website:

The Hotter'N Hell Hundred celebrates its 24th annual event August 27th, 2005. The Hotter'N Hell entry fee is $25 per person if registered by Aug 1st and $30 after. Our family rate allows for an entry fee of $15 for members of the same household after the first member pays the regular price. Entries must be submitted together. Riders can register by mail, fax, in person or on line. A lot of things are going on during the HHH weekend but there is no way to describe the electrifying experience of the START. Riders begin to assemble as early as 4AM. They are joined by 9000+ other riders who have trained to complete their chosen distance. All that pent up human energy is unleashed after the American Anthem, Air Force Fly over and Canon Blast.
If you are going to ride 100 miles, the best place to do it is at the Hotter'N Hell Hundred!

We registered the morning of the rally a couple of years ago.

No worry, eventhough you can register in the morning, that is a last resort, since people are lining up at the various starts along the street at 6:00 am, by the time you get registered, you will be stuck at the back and have to wait 30 minutes to cross the starting line. If you don't get to register online, you can register the friday evening before the rally at the convention center across the hall from the expo. A very painless process.
