The Waco Bicycle Club, in conjunction with the Waco Park Rangers, is having a Cameron Park trail building event on Saturday November 12 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We will meet at the ball fields on Park Lake Drive, near Lovers Leap. The new trail is designed to be a Beginner Trail. It starts about 200 yards in on the Outback Trail from the corner of the ball field parking lot.

We will have tools available but bring loppers, pruners, rakes, etc. if you have them. You should bring work gloves, water and a picnic lunch. The WBC will provide drinks and snacks. We will have a picnic lunch at noon at the ball fields. For questions contact Rusty at rustyh3-at-aol.com or call 715-0977.

I would like to help, but I think we have a race the same day. If my bike is not fixed by then I'll help out.

Is anyone running hill sprints in Cameron anymore? I'd like to go with someone, since it's lonely out there. Post up, I'd be ok with going anywhere between 2 and 5, and I could drive if you are minus a car.

I'm going out to cameron around 3 for a little while to test my brakes. If you want to go post up, I'll probably only be out there for about an hour. I have too much homework for tomorrow.

Time for the Sunday ride. Meet at the fountain at 1:00 sharp, we need all the daylight we can get.
