Just moved from the Mojo Mecca in San Antonio to College Station. Is there an organized MTB club in this town? Do they have a web site? Help.

Yes, there is a club, the Brazos Valley Mountain Bike Association (BVMBA). They are nice people.

There is a social ride on Sundays at 3pm at Lake Bryan.

There also is a roadie club, if you're into that sort of thing. It is called the Brazos Valley Cyclists.

Thanks for the info. I go "both ways" when I ride, but I have been going "no ways" for a couple of months. Moving duties and a new job have kept me off the bike, but I plan to get back in the saddle starting as soon as this weekend.

I don't see much forum traffic here. Does BVMBA have its own web site or forum board elesewhere?

You just need a yahoo login to access (or subscribe to) it. It can be kinda chatty, but it's also the best way to keep up.

The social ride on Sun or the monthly meeting (Mon night) would be good places to meet people.
