Looking for something decent, xc oriented. Prefer air springs. Needs to be able to run at 80mm and would prefer the option of also running it at 100mm later.

I have an 80mm duke race collecting dust if nothing else...

Is this for you or your wife?

It's for Michelle. The SID on her bike died and I replaced it with the Manitou I had on my Stumpjumper. That's an elastomer sprung fork with really bad dampening and a harsh top out, and she doesn't like it.
The Duke might be perfect. I'll call you later today.

I have a 100 mm Xvert Manipoo color is black. Holds air for ever.
I will sell it cheap.

Sounds familiar :)
If I thought that fork would reliably hold air, I'd use it. She'd never fogive me if I stuck something on her bike she had to add air to before/during each ride.

Michelle's on a XTR equipped Turner Stinger. What kind of bike did you buy your wife? And isn't the Duke fork you're offering up off her bike, too? :)
Michelle's planning to get a new bike in the next year. I need something that will work on her current bike now.

you mean that fork was still alive? i figured you dumped that thing on the side of the road a long time ago.

Nah - worked fine for me. I did notice it start topping out a bit more harshly recently, but otherwise I liked it.
Unfortunately, it is not pretty much useless. I cut the steerer to work on Michelle's bike, so now it's way too short to work on the stumpy.

I might have a quad 5 off an 1995 Gt timberline or a 97 Judy SL (yellow) laying around.

I may have the Bomber from my Racer X avail. after I sell the frameset. It's the air-sprung model, 80mm, lightweight version (Atom Bomb?).
