hey this is Ryan Moffenbier (fire fighter) just wanted to say hi and thanx for the great ride the speed was a real rush that is a lil faster than im used to going so i cut it off at 17 miles at a 16mph average speed i think i could have done a lil better but i thought we were doing a 10 mile ride oh well always next time by the way any comments on the most comfortable helmet as you can tell im not a big fan of them anywayz talk to guys later :endo:

hey--i ride on tues eve and sometimes Sunday--I missed my last three road rides
because I was interviewing and also out of town giving a mountain biking tour of two texas famous ranches to a pal from hawaii (and a phone interview w/ DOL tomorrow early morn is my excuse for not riding this evening).

I know what you mean about the speed. This "club" does not regroup. If you cant keep up you're left behind--esp on Tues rides. I've only hung the full way w/ the fast pack once out of about six Tuesdays. When my average is 18.9 with the wind and hills and i still cant hang--I just let em go and pray i know the way back. ha ha--really someone should do several powerpoint strip maps of the most popular routes---loco--maybe some1 would volunteer?

Helmet--I am a real fan of Giro E2. Very comfortable--don't hurt the top of my head like most others have. I have a Briko which is the WORST most hurtful thing.

yeah im glad i had a good knowledge of the area but definetely some strip maps would be helpful and i cant wait till i get back into shape ive finally stopped smoking so hopefully that brings my speed up considerably just being around other people on bikes is a real motivator for me especially when theyre dustin my fat a$$
