I had this problem too. Just leave off the www and .com parts and post the rest of the address. This should work I believe. After 15 or so posts, then you can add URL's to your posts.

I saw a excerpt in a local business journal. Not much new, but it made me believe this thing is actually for real.
It was included how the private land was voluntarily annexed for city assistance and that it's been a master planned development in the works for a couple of years now and that Phase I (of 5) could be open as early as Dec. It will be the site of Leander's first hotel. No specifics really.
