Saddle up for the 15th Annual Outlaw Trail 100!
Each year, the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Outlaw Trail 100. The bike tour features 10 mile, 25 mile, 40 mile, 50 mile, 100 km, 100 mile loop courses through historic Williamson County. This year's event will be 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. Sign up online!

Date, time and place
8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19., Old Settlers Park off Hwy. 79

A staggered start is planned with 100 milers leaving promptly at 8 a.m. No rider will start after 9 a.m. The course will close at 5 p.m. Parking will be available across from the pavilion unless the ground is wet. Then parking will be available at the Dell Diamond.

Entry fee and registration form
$20 early registration (deadline Oct. 17)
$25 late registration (Oct. 18 - 19)

Participants may late register from 4:30 - 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, and 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19. Make checks payable to City of Round Rock.

Packet pick-up
4:30 - 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at Old Settler's Tabernacle, 3000 Palm Valley Blvd. (Hwy 79)
6:30 - 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Lakeview Pavilion in Old Settler's Park

Tour
10 mi, 25 mi, 40 mi, 50 mi, 100 km and 100 mi loop courses will meander through historic eastern Williamson County. These challenging courses will give you the taste of small town and rural life. Food and drink may be purchased in towns if desired.

Travel assistance
Sag wagons will provide road assistance and transport for those unable to complete the tour. Be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs. Remember, the course closes at 5 p.m.

Watering Holes
Rest areas will be located at 10 mile intervals (approx). Water, fruit and other snacks will be provided in addition to portable toilets and medical assistance.

Rules
This event will be held rain or shine unless extremely dangerous conditions exist. No refunds will be made. Participants will be started according to distance traveling - longest distance riders will leave first. All traffic laws must be obeyed at all times. Helmets are required. 100 mile cyclists must pass Aid Station #3 by 12 noon and Aid Station #7 by 2 p.m., if not, cyclists must finish on the 100 KM course.

Rewards
First 700 Bandits receive a long sleeve T-shirt and other loot. All entrants will be eligible for door prizes, awarded on Saturday, October 19.

Pasta Dinner
Fazoli's Restaurant will be serving a free pasta dinner for registered cyclists from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday, October 18 in the indoor Tabernacle of Old Settler's Park. Guests pay $2 per person. All cyclists must pick up their packets prior to attending the Pasta Dinner. Saturday morning munchies will be provided and following your ride Double Dave's Pizza will have slices of hot pizza and pepperoni rolls!

if your not doing the 12hr at FC, you should do this ride. It's well attended and well supported. I know off at least 1 person from our tues Cylce360 ride is doing it. If you don't make the Outlaw you should come out to one of our weekend roadrides, we use a lot of the same route. You are on the Flying Monkey's e-mail list aren't ya?

yeah, i'm on the list, except it's usually tough for me to make em with the mtb race schedule. i'll probably try to make some of em this winter though, along with some mtb rides too.
