Frankenbike is heading north for the summer! After a year or so of cycle-swap goodness in central/south Austin, Chris (the genius behind Frankenbike) decided to look to the 'burbs for a spot for the next Frankenbike.
For those of you who don't know what Frankenbike is - shame on you. Seriously, shame on you. Frankenbike is a monthly swap meet/event that gives cycling enthusiasts (and anyone else for that matter) to buy and sell parts and gear and have a great time in the process. I'd write more, but Chris does a good job explaining the whole thing at the Frankenbike site - I can't seem to enter the url in this post, but enter "frankenbike" in your favorite search engine and you'll find it.
We're located at 11416 RR 620 N, that's on 620 just south of the Anderson Mill/Volente intersection. Frankenbike will officially commence at 2PM on Saturday, August 19th and go until...whenever, I guess. We're lining up a band and hopefully Shooters will join in the fun by offering Happy Hour prices all day long.
