Hi folks,

A bunch of us from Houston rode RHR this past Saturday. We were wondering why the posts seemed a little quiet and no one was answering the phone. We learned that Boomer had a bad crash on the Carpet Bridge.

From what we understand, by Saturday morning, they couldn't tell the severity of his injuries, but did know that he has some cracked vertabrae; is very swollen around the face, head, and neck; groggy & sedated; and quite uncomfortable (which is a Good sign, actually).

Just thought folks who appreciate Boomer and RHR would like to know and offer some support.

He was up and around at the ChainRing Massacre. But he says that he will be off the bike for some time.

He tried on his new lid yesterday, so he must be planning a ride sometime:eyebrow:
The Docs (and me too) haven't given the OK yet, so he is still grounded.:(

It was good to see him out and about.

I have a good idea how scary these crashes can be.

guess I need to read something besides the Voodoo thread every once in a while.

sorry to read of the accident, glad you're doing better. while we've never met, per se, I always enjoy my rides out at your place, and am looking forward to my first ever race in Sept. there, which I'm really hoping to just finish.

continue to heal.
