First Collegiate Mountain Bike Race... Everyone Go

The second weekend after school starts there is going to be the first collegiate mountain bike race of the season. The race is hosted by UT and will be at Camp Eagle near Kerrville. This race is similar to the race that was at Kelly Creek last year. On saturday there will be a Super D race and Short Track for all categories. If you don't know what either is you should sign up this is an awesome opportunity to try two really fun events. Sunday is the cross country.

The site for the race is a christian summer camp that has a river to swim in with a blob and several other activities. There's great camping and a few dorms to stay in.

Because this trip is so early in the year it's not going to be a Baylor sponsored trip. Anyone interested in going post up and we'll carpool and camp near each other.

Hey guys-

Just and FYI - there will be a camping area set aside for all the college riders at the top of the hill (near the dorms, rvs, etc) just tell them when you get there.

Well even though we only had two people we thouroughly represented. Brandon T. won the Super D and came in second in the ITT in the C's. I won the Super D and the ITT in the A's and then raced the PSE TMBRA race. We had a great time and if they have this race again next year everyone should go the venue was awesome. Lots of swimming, food, and stuff to do.
