Bound to happen. My road bike is too big for me, always has been. (See want ad, cough, cough)

I found a great deal on a road frame in my size! I'm going to start off by riding to work on it, mostly through a neighborhood. I used to embrace riding on the road a lot more, but we'll see how it goes. No leg shaving anymore. That was too much trouble, and I'm an ape anyway so yeah.

It's been ordered. A KHS Flite 800. Woo!

I like yalls icons. :) Anita I just saw "rejected" - good short movie.

Thanks, I'm very excited about it. I have some updated ultegra and dura ace (and campy) componentry for it, so it'll be an eclectic machine.

I havent had a new road bike since 1989! woo

Took my new road bike out for the maiden voyage tonight.

Wooooo

Nice steel + carbon fork = woosh

I am very happy with it so far although when I'm in the drops that's still sketchy, always has been.

I'm running a 53 /39. Downhills are insane and uphills..well, I didn't really go up any but the 39 will help around here. Plus thats what was on the crankset so there you go. :p

I still think that I gotta stick to the low traffic roads first, and no big group rides for me.

Cool - Let me know when you want to ride. I have route that start right by your house that range from 20 to around 70 miles, and have as many hills as you want.

Congrats on the new ride.

Let me know too. I've GOT to hit the road bike before the Spring Series.

Hey Charles, I'd be glad to bring it by. If it's cool, I wouldn't mind a few tips on the fit. Everything feels good so far but could probably use a few tweaks. I'll call.
