Another NEW Extra Credit(TM) trail is now complete and ready to be beaten into submission by knobby tires.
Extra Credit (EC) trails are the ones that add milage to any loop you ride, and bring you back onto the trail you left from. Other EC Trails at RHR are Frontal Lobotomy, Bottle in Front of Me, and Y-Knot.
This one will add just shy of a mile to your ride. :D
Turn onto LumberJack from Miracle Mile, cruise this downhill run and at the bottom end, just before you intersect Off The Lip, the trail leads off to the right AND . . . there's a JUMP  with a downhill transition as you enter onto the newly cut trail, Lizards winds it's way back up to Miracle Mile covering what I hope will be interesting terrain. (the jump can be rolled over, it's not a drop, just a handy pile of dirt I found)
Come ride this weekend in AIR CONDITIONED COMFORT at RHR, and look for Boomer's "lizard" (looks more like a small, life-sized dinosaur to me . . .) at the top of LJ.
Kudos go to Skid and the Blistered Fox who raked most of the new route, Crash and I laid out the trail, Boomer added the crowning touch with his metal sculpture and I hacked my way through the length of it for your riding pleasure. (actually I just did it for me, but if you like it too, that kewl!)
:coolness:
Tell us what you think of it.
