Our First Paydirt workday of 2007 will be Saturday January 13th at 9:00 am. During this workday, weather permitting, we plan to cut brush along the trails and rake steep ups and downs in preparation for STORM Miles of Dis-Comfort Marathon January 27th 2007.
Tools needed: I have some tools but rakes, and gas powered weed eaters will be appreciated.
We will be having lunch after the workday. After lunch we usually ride what we just worked on. Remember if you work, you ride free the workday. If you work at least 5 hours you ride free till the last race on April 1st. You must work at least 15 hours to ride free till we close for hunting season. 10 paydirt approved hours must be worked on trail and 5 hours can be worked as a volunteer at the STORM Hill Country Mountain Bike challenge or the STORM Miles of DisComfort Marathon (you may assign significant other to perform your race volunteer work, call for details). You must log in your hours.
We do have primitive camping with HOT-water showers for those who are coming from far-off. Please no camp fires we are still under a Kendall County Burn Ban!!
Next Scheduled work day will be Saturday January 20th.
