They were good on Wednesday and it's not rained since? Who's riding and when?

Misting pretty good right now. Dirt is still dry, but the street (limestone and roots???) is damp.

Thanks for the info folks. The trail was amazing on Sunday. Maybe as good as I have ever ridden it.

John - others, I would have given you a heads up and asked you to join, but it was just me and a newb. So we took it extremely slow.

That trail is amazing. Props to whoever maintains and builds out there.

Oh, I was geared 32|20 on a 29'r rigid SS. It was sweet (again, with lots of rest breaks). I had to walk 3 sections of the Highlander. What a freakin' amazing trail.

But I couldn't find Vortex. Never ridden it. What trails is it near?

Off of slinky. Entrance is less than 50 yds from the top of buzzard.

sunday was a great ride! couldn't ask for better trail conditions. I was a loner because I'm still trying to get my breath, but I went all over the place. river trail, powerline, kite, slinky, torquer, powder monkey, hale bopp, weber run... I've never had so much fun. I think i'm ready to try another group ride soon. I did try some trails from the bottom of mix master. baseball and lean to, I went up most of the way but turned around. hope the sun comes out later this week and gets rid of the slick stuff falling today.
