Representative government has broken down. Our politicians represent not the people who vote for them but the commercial interests who finance their election campaigns. We have the best politicians that money can buy

You go on believing that and don't waste your time voting......Take a look at the Federal Election Commission breakdown of donations from individuals and those to the soft money funds and it is very informative as to which candidates (and which party) are supported by the people vs. PACs. Remember though, most PACS are funded by individual members......
