Rode the course last night. Gotta admit that it's challenging to stay on trail in the dark. I shoulda brought lights! . . . (just kidding)

Actually, I was frying shadows with an HID and still noticed problem areas. Even had problems on sections of Miracle Mile, as well as on the new trails. There's a lot of new growth obscuring sight lines.

I sent Kathy a report, and she is planning to put out more white ribbons on trees, especially at turns, so the ribbon will catch your eye to the direction you need to go.

As a course marshall I'll likely take a day lap and night lap, and will bring a roll of white tape with me to mark anything that doesn't seem obvious enough.

Things are shaping up for a fine event!

As always, thank you! Glad to hear I wasn't just being a baby a week ago. It starts to get *slightly* easier at night as you learn the course, but I'm very, very glad to hear you'll be marking it with more ribbon.

See you all in two days!

@Ridenfool: Thanks so much for all the hard work. I've been riding the trails for the last two months and the trails are in really good shape now! I haven't ridden there at night since last year's 24hrs, but I can see that additional ribbons will make Lumberjack and Y-Knot much easier to navigate at night.

Again, thanks for all the work - I really appreciate it!

Now, let's go and have some fun :)
