Happy Holidays Cyclists!
The 2008 GCF event calendar is now up on the website. www.guamcycling.com. Although at this point we do not anticipate changes to the calendar, please keep in mind that all dates and events are tentatively scheduled.
We have also re-opened the link that allows GCF members to register for the GCF message board. If you are a GCF member, please take this opportunity to register for the message board. Your registration will enable you to post information on the message board. If you are non-GCF member, you may use the board to view all messages.
Please go to the link, http://guamcycling.com/index.php?option=com_registration&task=register to register. As we enter the new cycling year and dry season (hopefully), we anticipate an increase in group rides for both MTB and Road. We hope that the message board will serve to heighten the awareness of these rides.
2007 was an exciting year for the GCF. Highlights included:
The staging of 20 cycling events
The launching of the GCF website
The design and creation of the GCF membership cycling jersey
We look forward to another great year in 2008 and bringing the cycling community on Guam with more cycling events and benefits. We thank everyone that helped make the past year so memorable and successful.
