I've been out of town and am in desperate need to ride. I fly back late Sunday and I plan to be riding at Flat Rock on MLK day at 11ish. anyone else care to join?

If the temps are out of the 40's I might try to join you, I have gotten a lot of homework done tonight so I may actually be able to ENJOY a day off for once...

If I'm there I'll be by our popup in the volunteer camping area.

40's??? i was hoping for 50's. i'm just a lil worried about rain. hell, i'll be out there no matter what. two weeks of sitting on my a$$ is killing me. i really need to get a travel bike.

don't you just love it. i could hear the rain at night and my heart started to stink. well, i don't want to cause any trail damage. i'll try and give them a call and maybe it isn't raining in comfort.

i'm still heading up there. i'll see how the trails are. if it's bad, i'm heading up to camp eagle. it's a lil farther but there's no rain there. hell, i've got the whole day off.

Hope you had a good ride; I decided not to venture out after I nearly rolled the jeep this morning on the slick roads. Wound up on the edge of a very steep dropoff after having a massive skid that sent me off the road.

All I can say is THANK GOD for 4wd or I'd have had to call a truck with a winch to get me out.

Yeah I'm fine, thanks for the pm Cyn. Was a very near miss. Ole Jeepy just has a bunch of grass and weeds in the bumper, no biggie. It was very frightening to realize that the vehicle had developed an agenda of its own for a few moments. It felt like it took forever, but I'm sure it was just a matter of seconds before I came to a stop. Was a very narrow spot that I came to rest at...between a telephone pole and a rather stout standpipe-looking thing on the edge of a steep man-made hill. It makes me shudder.

Hehe I knew Lance was pre-riding with Jimmy and Doug today, I wondered if you got to see him. I was bummed...but at least I'll be at the marathon to see him in action.
