R.B. will be offering grub and drinks this weekend in front of the Saloon. I understand that the usual sides will be available. (tater salad, cole slaw, etc.)

The building itself is undergoing renovation, so dining will be outside.

Also, the new Sign-In area is ready to go, find it at the Timing Shed on the left, just past the Saloon.

Please let R.B. know what you think of his work, he's really been putting in the hours out there for us. :D

Damn, I got other plans for this weekend. But sometime this month i'm gonna head out.. I'm guessing it'll still be a bit before the Saloon opens?

RB mentioned plans to have the restrooms/showers, and food and beverages including brewskis available before Fat Chuck's Revenge.

We had some melt in the mouth barbeque this weekend.

There were also Warsteiner, St Pauli's Girl, Land Shark, and Fat Tire among a few domestics on ice, accepting donations. They seemed to be a big hit.

The trails were perfect, sand just loosening up in those tricky spots, little dust, and the weather couldn't be beat.

Tried out the new bridge on Omar's, it flows very nice taking you into the climb from the creekbed.

Almost everyone I spoke with was there for their first time, having heard about the place here and there. Folks from Monterey, Michigan, Wisconsin, and many Houston area folks trying it out.

Awesome! Its great to hear that things are turning around. My allergies are starting to abate, so maybe I can start getting back out there and loose this curious puffiness above my belt line.

There's nothing curious about that . . . married man. (give my best regards to the missus)

You're spoiled and need some much overdue abuse!

Looking forward to seeing you on the trails.
