I've got MS and as such my legs and balance aren't what they used to be. To feed my cycling addiction I'm cleaning and maintaining the bikes in my garage, but can't ride them due to poor balance. Therefore, I'm looking for a recumbent trike.

Sheldon Brown's recommendation, the Greenspeed G3 (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/org/greenspeed/) is a bit pricey but looks to be just what I need - his recommendation goes a long way as well.

In any case, I don't get out much anymore but looking around online I see that Waco only has one bike shop. Anyone know if they carry trikes? Anyone know someone who has an old trike they want to get rid of? I can fix / upgrade on my own, so I'll take a beater if necessary.

Thanks!

The best resource that I can think of is cintacting easy street recumbants in Austin. They can probably recommend something.
Luck.

Awesome, just what I was looking for.

Still in the market if any individuals have one to let go. :)

we've got a couple of options.

the sun tadpole ez-sx which is $1125, and the tadpole ez-cx which is $1500.

here's a link to sun's website. mouse over recumbents, and then over ex tadpole, and then either model.

the number up at the shop is 254.772.2453. ask for larry (my boss) and he can tell you more about them.
