View Full Version : Reimer's Ranch
This weekend, 4/12-4/13. Races on Sunday.
It's down in Austin, but I think we were planning on camping out Saturday night.
No one has any excuses....there are no road races, no Baylor events, nada. Come on out and race dammit!

Someone needs to go and just hang out in my place. Be sure to drink a lot saturday night.
Why would we hang out at your place:confused:
I'm going, but I think I'm hanging at Muleshoe.
(or did you mean someone needs to hang out in your stead:p?)
and yes, drinking lots of water is good.

I said "in" and not "at". Only in German can those two prepositions mean the same thing.
And I'm not a mojo supporter so I couldn't have edited my post just to call you out :D
I think we're leaving around 12 or so. Brandon, post up for sure mofo.
12 would be good, it'd give me time to nap since I'll be up all night the night before for Relay for Life. Good times.

bui,
I'll be out there pre-riding on the SS if you wanna spin a lap.
I've also got a project going on in Waco (Belmead actually) so I think I'll be up there for a couple days later this month and was hoping to get in some riding at cameron, if anyone is up for guiding.

Yeah, sounds good. I have no idea what time our crew will be getting there, but it looks like it'll be mid to late afternoon.
And just give me a ring or post here if you want a guide...I'm out there about 5 days a week, depending on the weather and course load. I'll be glad to ride, just don't leave me behind or it defeats the whole purpose!

oops, thanks for the clarification.
IT SUCKED
Details at 10.
waiting...
Haha, overall, it was a great race. I just meant that riding that course at racepace for two laps, single and rigid, sucked...especially when you wreck. I'll elaborate later, I'm working on a blog entry for it.
Thanks to the ARR and all the volunteers too...it was very well-run/organized. The place had a great atmosphere, and I did enjoy myself (although I contemplated selling my mountain bike once or twice :p)
I'm just a wuss when it comes to rocky trails...I'm more of a smooth singletrack climbing type of person.
Just wondering.
Feedback in general has been positive, but I'm under no illusion that some people had a very hard day out there.
I'll look forward to your blog, please post the link when it's ready.
In a big twist of routine, instead of racing my full-mega-squish, I rode my hardtail (i'm way too old to run a rigid bike) and while I did surprisingly well I feel, I definitely thought a few times to myself "I don't remember this section being soo bumpy..." :D
