Is there anyone out there interested or already has started forming a team to participate in this fundraiser?

Details are here. (http://biketxh.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=9356&utm_source=oldsite&utm_campaign=oldsitejavascript)

I'm interested in either forming a team or joining one. This is a 150 mile ride from San Antonio to Corpus Christi the first weekend in October. The Valero Bike to the Beach is a fund-raising event benefiting 20,000 Texans with MS.

Registration is $25 until May 31st, then it starts to go up. It's time to be raising funds AND training for a fun 2-day ride. Can we get a team from Central Texas???

This is a good ride! I did it a few years ago with some of the Mojo's. The first day was hellacious! Wind and hills. The second day was wind and heat. Good ride though.

I've not decided on it yet. I've just gotten over the burnout and funk I was in for the past year and have to do some catching up. :) What part of Temple are you in? My sis and BIL live there (he's stationed at Hood) and I've been meaning to get in a ride up there, and now that I'm a free man, it's all good!:D

I live in Western Hills, and ride just about every day, weather permitting. There's a number of group ride opportunities, esp. if you're here on the weekends.
I'm mainly a solo rider - I ride to work and back, usually with a long detour before and after.
I HOPE there's some Bell County folks that will ride with me in the MS 150. So far, nobody's shown any interest.
I'm beginning to wonder why...?

I don't know what my plans are yet. I know it's in October, but I've got to whip myself into shape, even if I take it easy on that ride. Don't know too much about the Bell County folks though....
