December 8th @ Rocky Hill Ranch
I believe John Williams, John Jacks and Paul Ray are participating so far. I'm trying to find a runner to do the 2 person category with me.
Come out so you can say you've seen Lance ride.

I think other Posties Hincapie and that young Mennenite dude from Penn. said they wanna do it to.
I think I may do it. Maybe I'll run it too.

Joel-
There is guy in my office who runs regularly. He said he may be interested in running for you. I will let you know.

I think it was TXBRA? But I don't see it now. Maybe somewhere else. The only thread on TXBRA doesn't specify names and says only only:
"The Dirty Duathlon scheduled for Saturday, December 7th has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 8th. Lance Armstrong and several other U.S. Postal Service teammates want to do the race but they are to appear at a Pearl Harbor memorial service on Dec. 7. They pleaded their case to me and I decided to go ahead and accomadate their request. If this causes you any inconvenience, I will happily refund your entry fee or transfer it to another race in the dirty du series. It is my belief that Lance's presence in the event will not only provide a higher level of competition but also provide the regular athlete an opportunity to race with the best in world."

Thanks John - I should know if the coach can do it by tomorrow
Sandy - check cycling news or velonews, I think Kyle posted the link on the ARR forum as well
My wife asked if people bother him for an autograph or do they hang back and act cool - whatyathink?
After what Sandy saw in Vegas it seems they have to pay for the autograph session, then again, this is his home turf so maybe he'll cut us some slack. I still think it would have been better not to publish that they are going to be there, just let them show up and surprise everyone like last year. I wouldn't mind doing it but I can't run to save me, it would be cool to see Lance but I don't want to just go out there for that.

Personally, I don't do the autograph thing. I don't care who it is. Not even Michael Jordan or the President. Unless it's someone signing their book or artwork or a check made out to me. I've gotten a few over the years, and they just get put aside and I just don't get what the big deal is. Famous people are people too. Just people who got famous for using their skills. I've been amazed by many people with awesome abilities who aren't famous too.
