Looks like more and more roadies around these parts. I know of two clubs that are road specific. Cyclismo and the S.A wheelmen.
If you go to the wheelman site www.sawheelmen.com theres lots of route maps there. If you go under shops most of those sites list more rides . Then if you go under Jim Brittons site( very active in the local riding scene and polotics since the 70s ) then click the cyclismo icon then rides , even more routes.
Do you know of any more listings for routes then post up. Got a buddy who roadies, tell them about this place. George, Gary, and Myself wish to see this leetle flower blossom.

We're putting together a no drop road ride this weekend . Hopefully Sat. but who knows . We do know that it willl be the Woman Hollering Creek 55 easy rolling miler ( found on wheelmen)

Do your part and pass the word and do some posting here and before you know it ....
We're going to have a monster on our hands !!!!!

yeah, what he said! hehe

Seriously, yep, that is exactly what I would like to see. In addition, where I think bikemojo can really fill the gap (as has already been suggested) is having a good, active FORUM where anyone can post all their informal rides and stuff.

I visit the wheelmen site for road maps and such, but unlike it's STORM bretheren, there is no forum there to discuss last minute, spur of the moment rides or any other road/ride updates, so its kind of stagnant in that regard.

Also, by having an active forum, we can swap training tips, local ride knowledge, and all the other less formal stories that go along with them.

And on a related side note, I always used to look forward to Tom Sickmann's Wednesday article in the local paper because he too posted upcoming rides and events, but its not always there so again, this is an excellent resource to augment our ride calendars.
