View Full Version : man its dead over here
I know there are a bunch of mojos with road bikes who are interested in starting up some rides. I was thinking of replacing one of the morning mountain bike rides with a casual road ride. I am thinking of either Tues, Weds, or Thurs morning. If anyone is interested in a 20-30 mile (1 1/2 hr or so) morning road jaunt or has a strong preference to one of these days, post up!

What time were you thinking of? I might be interested on Tuesday or Thursday mornings, but probably couldn't do Wednesday. What kind of pace are you looking for?

Either Tuesday or Thursday is great for me. Probably meeting at 6:45 or so and getting on the road by 7 am. Finishing up around 8:30 am. As for pace, that is open for discussion and would probably depend on the ride. For example, if we choose to ride loop 360 or Bee Caves, we may want an easier pace with all the hills.
But I am open for any and all suggestions. I would like to start this next week, so we have a little bit of time left for planning.

great! I propose that we try your 20-mile loop to kick things off. Hows Tuesday at 6:45 am? We'll just need to determine a good meeting place for everyone who is interested.
im down.. sometime. wheres the bakery?
according to singlespeedster:
Upper Crust is perched (rather jauntily, i might add) at the intersection of 45th and Burnet. If one were driving there I would recommend parking in the neighborhood to the immediate northwest.
durn.
Well, I dont think i can do that. Ill post up an am ride idea
