What's up mojo brethren!? A friend and I are visiting my family in Temple in about 3 weeks (Marth 14th weekend) and need to get some miles in our legs that weekend. My friend is riding the MS 150 from Houston to Austin in April, so a nice long route with some hills thrown in would be pimp. Let a brutha know, thanks!

There's a group or 2 that leave Lion's Park at 9:00 a.m. and go 40-50 miles, with plenty of hills to get your legs pumped up. There's also a Sunday "recovery" ride that leaves the Expo center @ 1:30 p.m., but I don't know who all shows up for that one anymore. There's plenty of routes one can find around here if you look on mapmyride.com.

PTB,
We'll be hitting the Temple/Killeen area Friday night sometime. My ride buddy needs a good route of about 40 or 50 miles. Are you going to be riding Saturday morning??

Right now, the weather forecast is for rain. I try to stay off wet streets, but there are plenty of nuts who ride anyway. There is a group that leaves Lion's Park at 9:00 a.m., rain, wind, heat, snow, or sunshine. Are you familiar with Lion's Park? We all meet up the hill at the pool. You can park there, no problem.

Okay cool. We're monitoring the weather too. May bring the trainers if the weather doesn't cooperate but really looking to ride in the area. We're heading out tomorrow night and keeping the fingers crossed for some good weather. What local shops should we check out for more info on the local rides?

What up Pauly! Visited the shop today and gotta say it was fun. I couldn't remember the two guys that helped me, but they were friendly as all get out. Looking forward to coming back into town and riding some now.

ProbablyJohn and Patrick. One is crazy as hell and the other just crazy, but both friendly. :see_no_ev I hope you got to ride some. The weather sucked, and I stayed home. Tomorrow may be better in the afternoon. See you next time you're here.
It was not me. I was in Austin all weekend. Patrick and Ross, but I'm surprised by the report. I can't imagine how they are in Houston now.

Eh, Houston is Houston. Rode through the city tonight and managed a dead spot in my headset when I hit a pot hole. Other than that, nothing new to report.
