Scheduled road rides

Anyone up to some scheduled road rides? It's time to get in shape for the Dirty 12 so I need to get in some good miles. Post up some times and days so we can see what works for everyone. I'm good for 6:30 everynight but I'm on call through Monday morning. This means I must carry my cell(I apologize for this I understand many people think it poor taste). Let me know what we can come up with.

Check out ACA at www.ccsi.com\~aca - they have rides each saturday and sunday at different places in town. Austin Tricyclists also does the 'dam loop' each saturday starting a 8:30am from the store on Barton Springs - about 55 miles and a pretty blazing pace if you want to stick with the A's. There's also the Sweetish Hills Bakery ride on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 9:00 from the bakery on 6th street - a pretty hard-core ride with lots of road racers, usually either really fast, really long or really long and really fast. I think REI and Freewheeling Cycles also have regular rides, but I don't know the schedules.

Is the Tuesday morning ride still on? I will be back by then, and might try to slip away for the ride (and pastries).

Hmmm.. We just drove into Austin after being in a car for *19* hours! Since I'm taking tomorrow off anyway, I'm gonna sleep in and do an afternoon ride around the neighborhood.

So- looks like I'm out for the Tuesday AM ride (12/31/02). Have a great ride everybody!!
