New Season

January 5th is the first race of the season. Anybody ready? After MTBing all these years I am thinking it should help me on Capitol's long course. Then again, at 38, maybe I am to old and will suck! We will see.

I've never been. I'd like to go check that place out, but I dont have a BMX bike :0

I'd like to go out there and watch some time. Maybe take some runs during practice sessions.

The older guys run 26" bikes. Some single speed some not. Some suspended even. If I had not purchased the cruiser already I probably would have converted the old LTS. That would have been cool.

cool, so nobody would beat me up if I showed up on a 26" mtb single speed with flat pedals?

Not a lot of up tight people there. I was talking to a guy last week and he told me I could take his bike out if I wanted! $5 per race, race twice a week if you want. Most people at practice are young kids, mainly practicing the gate. Not as fun as riding the cruiser at WC on the weekends passing every MTB'r you see though. That really freaks em out. Old man with a full beard on a little kids bike.
