New Year's Day Ride!!

There will be a New Year's Day ride at 2:00 PM tomorrow, January 1st. Although Bicycles Outback will be closed, we'll be meeting in the back parking lot of the shop.

The ride should be long and slow--as many will have over imbibed New Year's Eve. All level of riders are welcome.

I checked with Larry and it looks like you just missed them. There were 7 riders that left the shop at ~2:00 PM.

Next time, I will get there a little earlier. Did Larry say where they went and how long they were gone? I want to start riding some with the group, but I am not ready for much more than 25 miles.

Due to wind direction, they rode a 50 mile loop around McGregor.

Today, Tommy and I got copies of routes and borrowed Larry's county maps. We hope to have route schedules up on the site within the next two weeks. Please be patient--this is a VERY labor intensive process.

You might want to consider the Wednesday/Thursday rides. Check the "January Schedule" calander on the club rides page. It sounds as if these rides would be perfect for you.
