Updating my report of the Michelin Axial Carbons. So far, these things have held tough at the claimed 1/3 life. No signs of wear really, but what I have noticed is that the cool yellow rubber strip around the sidewalls of the tire are starting to fade. Don't think it affects performance (at least not mine:)), so we'll see. Bascially, I'm happy with them, but at $35-$40 each, you'd better expect me to try and get the proclaimed 3000 miles out of them! A good all around training tire so far and something that is built to last. It's just the initial price and the initial mount up that has sucked for me so far. Any other views?
