Looks like you guys should me more worried about the BIG RED ARROWS headed your way. I hear they are the worst.

And when the red arrows hit the blue spike strip (Saturday around noon) is when it's gonna get interesting.

According to the LCRA website, spicewood didn't get much in the last 24 hours and the weather channel says 10% chance of rain in spicewood today.

Probably ok to ride, Leif, can you give us an update?

good to go, as of now.

This is good to know, I may run out there today. Well, I mean, I may ride my bike out there, not run. Running is boring.

I wonder how Muleshoe is doing? Silverback?

I wonder how Reimers is doing? Maybe I can do another PBR Trifecta ride today.

I hope it is good, because there is an Xterra out there today. Hope it doesn't get fuqqed.

If PB is good, I'd expect much the same at Muleshoe.

Official word at 8:48 AM 4/18/10 - Reimers is closed for riding. I've come to expect Reimers to be closed for 3+ days following a rain.

Flat Rock is reporting sunny, breezy and muddy, but expecting to be ridable this afternoon.

My 24 hour rainfall map shows that Flat Rock was on the edge of the rain last night and didn't get the heaviest stuff and that Muleshoe/Pace Bend was hit relatively lightly.

If Reimers is closed (thanks bsdctx), would be nice to head over to Muleshoe after Pace Bend. But if there's a race out there today, doesn't sound too promising.

Hmm, info on the Xterra here:

http://www.racerevolutions.com/node/10

Looks like it starts at 11am with an 800M swim, 16 mile mountain bike course (two laps) followed by a 3.5 mile run. Map:

http://www.racerevolutions.com/node/48

The run doesn't look like it's using the mountain bike course, and the transition area is on the opposite end of the park from the mountain bike parking lot.

some folks were riding yesterday and weren't making ruts. today should be great. there is a triathlon going on and traffic will be one way on the park road, but that won't keep you from riding. they aren't going to be anywhere near the trails. they did block the trail that goes onto the road (with brush). just be careful when you ride the trails that are close to the paved road. those tri guys ride with their heads down.
