I stopped racing BMX in the same class you're in 35-39. Sad thing is....we didn't always have enough old guys to make a moto so they put guys from 18 all the way to 39 in the class.

Back in those days Julian Hurst was a 12yo that kicked ass the most in his class. The guy would purposely not make the main in the 1st and 2cd moto's just so he could ride more. His dad, Dr. J, used to get kinda pissed at him for doing that. It was really funny though 'cause when it came time for Julian to race the main and the gate dropped ol' Dr. J would yell out "It's Showtime!" and the next thing you knew Julian was xing the finish line several bike lengths ahead of most the kids in his class.
