wronG:D I wasn't that good in school when it came to geometry, but I do know about geometry on bikes and you just can't beat the way a bmx bike is built. The comparison of the Head Tube to Seat Tube angles are designed for high speed take off's and landings.:D Even at low speeds they're better than Mtb's. Have you noticed how over the years Mtb's geometry has been looking more like BMX geometry?!!
I'll have to look through my parts and see if there's anything I can get rid of. I'm pretty sure I have a seat or two for you to choose from. An extra set of 1-piece cranks or two.

Toonces,
That BMX bike, is it for tall people? Do they make them in different sizes, wheel size notwithstanding?

Yes, but the options aren't as vast as MTBs. Usually, it's extending the top tube length and that's about it.

are there sizes other than the 20, ~20.5, and 21?

Yep. Usually, street bikes range between 19.X to 21". Race bikes have may go longer in the TT and the rear ends. Then there are mini's and such which are small.
so what size is it? large / xl?

I measured 21" center-to-center actual top tube. I don't think street frames are classified as L/XL/Mini/etc. You should be fine on it and it's more stable than most street frames so it's good to learn big bunnyhops and jumps.
I posted a few pics on my sale page. Just click here. You kinda have to see the finish in person to appreciate it.

BMX bikes come in one typical frame size then for smaller peeps there are Jr. and Mini sizes. For taller folk, like over 6'3", the size is call "Limo." Cool HuH....cause like Toonces said.....the top tube is stretched out. Not litterally, but in overall length.
The way to stretch a typical frame size is seat location and/or using a laid back seat post (IF they even still make those??) and of course the stem. There are various lenght stems that can add an inch or so to the overall length of your reach.
What you're looking for in fit on a BMX bike is when you sit on the seat with your hands on the grips, you elbows are slightly bent. The width of the Handle Barz should be as wide as your shoulders. Sometimes you have to cut a half inch or so off of each end of the H-BarZ to make it the right width.

Or if you're concerned about size, might I reccommend the S&M Holmes. Named after John Holmes.

Ooooohhhh Yeah!!!!.......these parts are painted (forks, H-Barz & seat post) so you might want to dip them in the Barton Springs pool to strip the paint off!:D ;)
So, between Toonces frame / parts and B's parts he has extra, Im set except for a wheelset...
...theoretically? :D

Well see.....I have some 20" rims but no hubs. And the rims.....I'm not really sure what shape they are in. They aren't trashed or I wouldn't have held on to them.....but they may not be perfect either.
BTW, thanks Jay for getting me to finally start cleaning out/organizing my garage.

hmm, so all i needs is hubs. hmm.

maybe Trend will have some cheap hubs...you could take them the rims and they might hook you up....or maybe the all new Empire BMX.
Britt, let me know what you want for the parts. If you're really trying to get rid of stuff, I may just be interested in building the hefe frame up.
So after last Saturday, you've been bitten by the bmx bug?
Yes.
Well I got bitten by Toonces, who wants to get rid of his extra BMX frame. B Jonze may have the rest of the parts I need, so why not? :) I gotta hear from Britt on that. ^^cough^^ Hi Britt. :D
Plus I wouldn't mind to learn how to ride ramp / park. Did it on a skateboard but I'm more comfortable on a bike.
