My road bike is pretty much ready to go after some tweaks and few test rides. This is good, regardless of Toonces opinion.

My plan is to ride to work in the am sometimes. I live at 620 / 2222.

I don't think I can do a full loop before work, but if anyone wants to join me, I'll be starting at the HEB up there at 620 / 2222, and going down 620, cutting into the neighborhood, Riverdance, Riverlodge, whatever it's called there across from 3M, then up to City Park road, then up over Courtyard drive to work.

I know that doesn't constitute the distance most road riders do, but if anyone wants to accompany me on that chunk of the ride, I'm sure you could hop on 360 or 620 from Courtyard and head back to wherever you went.

I cant do the bakery ride, unfortunately.

That is one hell of a difficult commute to work. The climb up Courtyard alone is a work out. Riverplace ain't flat, either. You'll be kicking everyone's ass on climbs after doing that a few times a week...

I can't ride in the morning, but ride that area a lot on the weekends.... We'll have to hook up.

Yessir.

The alternative would be an easy cruise down that big ass 2222 hill, with straight shot to the office. Catch would be that it would be done during morning rush hour, so I'll take the hills, as I'm sure most of us would. :)

Thanks again for the stem, Kyle.

If you are leaving from the HEB, you can take the road on the other side of the parking lot from 2222 which curves around to connect to River Place Dr. That way you don't have to ride on 2222 or 620 during rush hour.

I work at the entrance to River Place and have biked back that way. There is a really steep hill in the back part right before you connect to the neighborhood off of City Park Rd. I can't even turn my pedals over sitting down on that one.

Exactly. I live right there in those apts so thats the route I would take. I messed up in the earlier post.

Let me know if you want to ride back there sometime, am or not.
