Got a good group together to ride around the lake this Sunday. We will be starting 8 am at Mt. Valley school in Sattler. Its about 51 miles with lots of hills. All are welcome. Heres a brief discription.
Over dam to 306
FM 3424 to Mail Route Rd
Fisher to Cranes Mill Rd
Mistic Shores to Tanglewood Rd
Cypress Cove to Rebecca Creek Rd
FM 3159 to Startzville then on to Sattler

is this fully supported, with chicken fried steak, french fries and draft beer when we cross the guadalupe?

Anybody that wants CFS will have to bring it from the start, theres not any restaurants on Rebecca Creek rd. Sounds kind of messy though. I might have some Lone Stars for after the ride.

Nice change of scenery. We only did 306 from the dam to 3424.
I rode in from home down RR. After 3424, Mail Route, Cranes Mill, through Mystic Shores subdivision, onto Rebeca Creek Rd, 311, 3159 and then back tracked part of the 10tops (S Cranes Mill, past the winery, 46, Hueco). If we all want to do a longer route from Gruene this is a very nice option, approx. 5 hours.

That watermelon sure was good at the end. I think that should be a tradition with that route Don. Thanks for the treat. Only thing missing in my opinion was a dip in the river, and next time out I will lead that aspect.
