Primavera?

Anyone going? What day? or both? After Pace Bend I'm ready to give it another go. Maybe this time I won't get dropped!

I'm definitely racing on Sunday, Primavera II. Might also race on Saturday but not sure yet. Trying to decide whether to do the Smackbuster mtb ride or race the Primavera I.

Last year the Saturday race was faster and more exciting.... So you should race on Saturday and if you still feel good race sunday too..:)

Actually, that is one of the cool things that I liked about the cat 5 race at pace bend. Everyone was real friendly. Nobody seemed to want to screw anyone over. I thought road racing would be a bit more clique-y (is that a word?). Maybe it is in the higher cats.

I am planning on doing the Saturday race, and possibly Sunday.

I think I realized why I liked the road race so much. I got to go out and race in a completely new environment with new challenges and did not have to worry about how well I did at all, because there really is no points race for cat 5. There was absolutely no stress to perform. mtb racing is not really stressful, but there are bunch more things to think about when you are involved in a competitive 4 month points race.
