Two things.
Finally some positive input from non mountain bikers:
Someone was weed eating the Bauerle Creek Trail in Bauerle Ranch this morning. Two different hikers passed by. The first hiker said that he found this trail because he saw some bikers enter it and he was glad to have found it because he thought it was the prettiest part of the big circle. Then a second hiker came by happy to see the weed eating being done and said that yes, the trail was getting overgrown, but she was thankful for the bikers that help keep it knocked down with their riding. At that point the weed eater said that he was a mountain biker that used this trail. She was appreciative of the effort. Good PR all around!
The second thing I wanted to say is to encourage everyone to use this forum to identify spots that need work. Just pointing things out is a way to give back to the trails. It doesn't mean you have to go do it just because you are the one pointing out the need.
The vegetation has exploded. Those that have weed eaters and have the time need to know where to go.
