    Official R&I Thread

    Ride and Imbibe to be held every Tuesday leaving and returning from the pool parking lot at Walnut Creek.

    All are welcome! The groups usually leave out around 6ish. Beer and snacks afterwards under the trees in the median of the parking lot.

    Ask questions here and lets use this thread throughout the spring and summer.

    BTW welcome back Marti! How was your ski trip?

    Skiing not great conditions

    Thanks for the welcome back!

    Two weeks without snow even in Taos makes for pretty icy moguls, which was my objective this trip. It snowed on my last day, so I stayed to ski last Sunday. That day I did a nice job on the softened bumps. The rest of the time I pretty much missed my bike.

    I am trying to get some girls out to ride Tuesday (on the other forum).

    Geez it was perfect for a bike today. Unfortunately I thought it would be to dry and I ran. There were places I couldn't even tell it had rained, others where it was just perfectly tacky.

    What is the official route? I can't go out there unless I know where the honorable Pimpjuice is going to lead us in the ride. I hope he's not going to include any of those technical trails. Is this an RLAA ride?

    It was nearly perfect yesterday afternoon. I was on foot and came across a few sections that were still wet, but not so bad you could not pass. It should be perfect tonight.
