Thumbs up Anthony Sloan's CP event PICS

so, i was headed to CP and began climbing THE HILL. i look off to the shoulder and spot at Bike Mojo jersey.......

i stopped at the top of THE HILL and waited....

and a BEAR HEAD popped up!

    closer...

right before a high five and Ted saying something that brought me to tears...

funny how Anthony can make you smile so big and cry at the same time...

my daughter, Natalie, caught up in the warm spirits that were all around...

thank you to everyone that made this evening so great and welcomed my little girls.

Can't wait to see everyones from the night. What a great night it was. I had the best ride of my life at CP well save the unfortunate crank foot incident.

Spent too much on the frame, not enough on the cranks.

Great time, one of the best mojo events I've been to. It was like everyone was out there, old faces, new faces. Great food (thanks to the cooks), good beer, lots of good Anthony stories, etc. I don't think I've EVER seen the cp parking lot that packed. I took a few shots before nightfall (I didn't get any of the group picture, I'm sure someone did and will post that up):

Sorry I missed it. Flight landed ~11 and I just couldn't get over there.

Indeed. It was Mojo of old.

Let's do it again, but under different circumstances.

    Great people, old and new.

    Great times, old and new.

    It has been too long.

This helped me a great deal

I even got a hug from davem, by monkey schwine proxy. So far I have not come down with swine flu.

Ps, Emma's still a bitch. And she owes me a new helmet.
She has not been getting enough attention, it shows.

A few things were clear last night. The reason Anthony was able to get so many good photos of other riders was because he was always way off the front. The only shots I got were because people waited for me

And a person could consider themselves fortunate to have that many people show up to send them off. A person would have to be Anthony to have that many people show up, from one aspect of your life, in a town where you hadn't lived in 3 or 4 years. I thought that was really nice... Jody and I left at ~ 10:00 PM and there were still cars parked out the driveway.
