    Pflugerville skatepark discussion - Travis County NE Metro Park

    . . . interesting discussion board i came across on the topic

    I hear that skatepark construction is already under way.

    Note that NE Metro Park skatepark is a Travis County deal and apparently nothing to do with City of Pflugerville.

    Original projections were Fall 2011. I can't find an revised date, but I think I heard March or April.

    I remember filling out a survey about what you would like to have in that park back in 2006 before I left Austin. Looks like they were listening. Way to go Travis County Parks Dept.
    Bliss, bliss and heaven... it was gorgeousness and gorgeosity made flesh...Oh, it was wonder of wonders... And then, a bird of like rarest spun heavenmetal, or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now...

    Travis County's Northeast Metro park in Pflugerville is still under construction. The skate park itself is nearing completion but there is still construction around the area. The skate area will remain closed until the surrounding construction is completed sometime in the summer. For safety reasons please do not enter the construction area.
    Once the park is set to open a press release will be sent out and local skate shops will be contacted.
