NBR: Wood Chipper Rental?

Does anyone in Mojo land have access to a wood chipper? I've got to take out a single large cedar, but don't want to pay the 300+ that Lowes wants to rent a chipper.

Alternatively if anyone knows somebody with a tree/landscape company that can just sell me that single service that would rock.

or could you cut it into smaller branches/logs and haul it to a proper place of disposal? cedar mulch isn't that great in the landscape. just an opiton. i realize you city-folk don't all have brush piles you get to burn (also why i bought a tractor).

We can cut and bind it up and the city will come get it on trash day, which is great. I was just looking for the lazy option, no cutting to length and no binding up. Just chop and feed.

right on. you still have to cut the limbs down to 5" diameter limbs to feed into a chipper. i chipped about 2 acres preparing our homesite in a weekend with friends (meat and beer was their pay). it was a lot of fun, as was the chainsawing. i kind of like killing cedars.
