New road biker

Hi my name is Sharif and I am new to bikemojo, I just bought a new road bike, my first. I don't know a lot about a road bikes. I live in Georgetown and would like to find a group close to Georgetown to ride with and learn. if there are any groups out there please let me know, if not let form a group. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few of us up north that ride moutnain bikes as well as road bikes. I'll shoot you a private message the next time that we do a road ride.

In the meantime, check out the Red Poppy Ride website. Download the maps and you will have multiple routes/distances to choose from and the site will tell you when the next Red Poppy Ride is scheduled.
